I have been trying to find a WORKING 5.1 surround sound, and the ones I find all seem to end up being 2 Channel, no matter where I download them from. Can you learned chaps link me to a decent 5.1 setup AV file, that I can download and actually convert it to play on my BD and AV system.
I have been looking at these but I dont understand how to convert them so they both play and have a genuine 5.1 signal.

So I installed the latest big update for Windows 10 and now the sound control panel says that I can't use 5.1 surround sound through my optical cable. I can't run 'Configure' either. The weird thing is, when I test 'Supported formats' DTS Audio and Dolby Digital, the surround sound works!
But when I try to select DTS Interactive under 'Advanced' it says that it's not supported by the device. I also can't select 5.1 through my Realtek HD Audio Manager. It used to work fine before the update.
So far I have:

- Switched PC on and off :) Switched off my receiver too
- Uninstalled windows sound drivers and reinstalled
- Uninstalled realtek drivers and reinstalled
- Ran the DTS surround sound test from Youtube to double check it wasn't a source issue.
- Ran Windows Troubleshoot. It said I needed to plug in my speakers. I pulled out the optical cable and plugged it back in. It's still not working. Also tried Troubleshooting again when music was playing and it said I didn't have speakers plugged in, even though I could hear music.
- Ran sfc /scannow. No issues
- Restarted Windows Audio through Windows Services
- Messed around with Sample rates (currently 2 channels 96)
- Disabled audio enhancements, exclusive mode and immediate mode. Then re-enabled them (I understand this could also affect my sound jumping to 100% when I restart, but more worried about the 5.1 sound)
- Double checked my motherboard is capable of 5.1 sound and checked its supporting software suite to make sure there aren't issues.
- Scanned my computer using Treexy Driver Fusion. No issues.
Really out of ideas now. :) Help would be appreciated.
